Who Is The General Public?
It's us. Our town.
No, Seriously, Who Is The General Public?
It's a mystery - just how we like it.
Do You Hate Crows?
Nope. We love all creation.
Do You Always Post In The Same Spots?
Nope. We move and post when we feel led.
Where Do You Get Inspiration?
It always comes appears. In a dream. In a thought. In a need. We follow where we are led.
When Do You Post?
Whenever we feel the spirit... Hint: We often post around the middle of the month, and when the weather is favorable. Also, posts happen at night. So, feel free to throw on your Muumuu, fire up the car and join the hunt.
Do You Have Social Media?
Nope. If you want a heads up when we are on the move, sign up for the email list on the site.
SECRET: While we don't have social media, we see every comment on the various Fircrest Facebook groups.
What If I Missed A Poster?
Well, we want everyone to enjoy this. If you miss one, you can purchase them on the site. We leave 10 available for sale. When they are gone, welp.
How Can I Get Involved?
This is a nimble operation. So, if you want to keep the dream alive, you can purchase the posters. If you want to fund a month of posting (or donate to the cause), we won't say no. Shoot us a message. Also, be sure to tell your friends and neighbors.
How Do I Get One Without Staples?
Well, you could always buy one online. However, the staples show that this is authentic art, hung in the city, posted personally by the artist. Some people don't want the poster unless it has the marks on it. To each their own.
Why Do You Do This?
Few reasons.
#1. The world needs art.
#2. It brings us together.
#3. It's a creative outlet (and keeps me from pestering my wife).
#4. The memories of racing through Fircrest (no faster than 25) with my kids as we post - it's a memory that I hope they remember long after I am gone.
#5. Seeing your comments and joy makes it all worth it.
